1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sacred Self Daily, operated by Velocity Estates LLC ("Sacred Self Daily," "we," "us," "our"). By creating an account, accessing the Service, or using any part of the platform — including visiting sacredselfdaily.com, using the mobile application, or receiving email communications — you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

2. Service Description

Sacred Self Daily provides daily personalized content grounded in astrology, tarot, and personality frameworks. The Service generates readings, forecasts, and reflections based on your birth data and behavioral signals. Content is delivered through the web application, email, and push notifications.

The Service is a self-discovery and reflection tool. It produces content designed for personal exploration and insight. Content is generated through a combination of astrological methodology, tarot frameworks, and automated synthesis.

The Service is not a licensed mental health service, medical practice, financial advisory firm, or legal service provider. Nothing in the Service constitutes professional advice of any kind. See Section 3.

3. Critical Disclaimers

Read this section carefully. These disclaimers limit what Sacred Self Daily can be used for and how its content should be understood.

3.1 Not Medical Advice

Nothing in the Service — including readings, transit forecasts, tarot interpretations, quiz results, or any communication from Sacred Self Daily — constitutes medical advice, health guidance, diagnostic information, or treatment recommendations. Do not use this Service to make decisions about your physical or mental health, medications, medical treatment, or medical providers.

If you have a medical condition or health concern, consult a licensed medical professional.

3.2 Not Mental Health Treatment

Sacred Self Daily is not a mental health service, counseling service, or therapeutic service. The Service does not provide therapy, psychological diagnosis, or crisis intervention. We operate a triage flow that identifies crisis signals and refers users to appropriate resources — that triage is not treatment, and the referrals are not a substitute for professional mental health care.

3.3 Not Financial Advice

Nothing in the Service constitutes financial advice, investment guidance, tax advice, or recommendations about financial products or transactions. Do not use astrological or tarot content from this Service to make financial decisions.

3.4 Not Legal Advice

Nothing in the Service constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship.

3.5 Entertainment and Reflection Purposes

Astrological and tarot content is provided for entertainment, personal reflection, and self-discovery purposes. The accuracy of any reading is not guaranteed. Astrological interpretations are frameworks for reflection — they are not predictive instruments with verified accuracy, and Sacred Self Daily makes no claim that they are.

4. Account Requirements

Age. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older. If we discover that an account holder is under 18, we will terminate the account and delete all associated data.

One account per person. Each person may hold one Sacred Self Daily account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent trial limits, subscription terms, or any enforcement mechanism is prohibited.

Accurate information. You must provide accurate information when creating your account, including your birth date, birth time (where known), and birth location. Inaccurate birth data produces inaccurate readings. We rely on the accuracy of this information to deliver the Service.

Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@sacredselfdaily.com if you discover unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized access caused by your failure to protect your credentials.

Non-transferability. Your account is personal to you and is not transferable to another person.

5. Subscription Terms

5.1 Subscription Tiers

Sacred Self Daily operates the following subscription tiers:

Devoted — $9.00/month (or $89/year) Full ad-free daily ritual experience: personalized readings incorporating Sun, Moon, and Rising sign; basic transit awareness; 3-5 tarot decks; 3-4 reader personas; weekly deeper reading; email and push delivery; up to 100 saved readings; 10 shares per month; monthly themed content; basic journaling; all quiz access; and compatibility checks with monthly limits.

Sacred — $19.00/month (or $179/year) Everything in Devoted, plus: full natal chart (all planets, houses, aspects); all tarot decks; all reader personas; detailed transit tracking; synastry readings for partners, family, and friends; composite charts; solar return reading; progressed chart readings; The Counsel decision readings; specialized and custom spreads; custom rituals; unlimited sharing; priority event readings; monthly transit reports; unlimited saves; pattern recognition; anniversary readings; on-demand reports; and numerology integration.

Pricing may vary by market tier. Your applicable pricing is confirmed at checkout based on your country of residence.

5.2 The $1 30-Day Trial

New users may access the full Devoted experience for $1.00 for the first 30 days (the "Trial"). The Trial is a paid offer, not a free trial. By starting the Trial, you authorize the $1.00 charge and the automatic renewal described in Section 5.3.

Trial eligibility: One trial per person. Trial eligibility is determined by email address, payment method, and device signals. Attempting to obtain multiple trials is a violation of these Terms.

Trial pricing by market: Tier 3 markets (India, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa) may be offered a $0.50 trial. Your applicable trial price is confirmed at checkout.

5.3 Auto-Renewal

At the end of your Trial or subscription period, your subscription renews automatically at the applicable rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize recurring charges to your payment method on file.

Renewal notifications: We will notify you before your Trial converts to a paid subscription:

No renewal will occur without these advance notifications being sent. If we fail to send advance notification, you are entitled to a refund for any resulting charge.

5.4 Trial-Period Ascension Lock

During your Trial, if your engagement patterns indicate you would benefit from the Sacred tier, you may be offered an ascension to Sacred at a locked price of $14.00/month for the first 12 months (the "Ascension Lock"), stepping to $19.00/month in month 13. This offer is only available during the Trial period. Accepting it constitutes a separate agreement to the lock price path.

5.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access through the period you have paid for. No prorated refund is issued for the remaining period upon cancellation, except as described in Section 5.6.

If you cancel during the Trial period, your access ends at the Trial end date and no further charges are made.

How to cancel: Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription. If you encounter any difficulty, contact support@sacredselfdaily.com and we will cancel on your behalf within 24 hours.

5.6 Refund Policy

We do not offer routine refunds for subscription fees already charged. We do honor refunds in the following circumstances:

Refund requests must be submitted to support@sacredselfdaily.com within 60 days of the charge. We aim to resolve refund requests within 5 business days.

5.7 Subscription Pause

Paid subscribers may pause their subscription for 1 to 3 months per year. During a pause:

5.8 Free Tier

Users who do not subscribe to a paid tier retain access to a limited free experience, including one daily reading, Sun/Moon/Rising integration, one tarot deck, one reader persona, basic transit awareness, a weekly community reading, up to 10 saved readings, 3 shares per month, and basic compatibility checks with limits. Free-tier users see affiliate offers and, where applicable, display ads as described in Section 8.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any of the following:

Automated access. You may not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated tools to access, extract, or interact with the Service. All access must be through normal human interaction with the Service interface.

Reverse engineering. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying frameworks of the Service.

Commercial scraping. You may not extract, copy, or reproduce Service content — including readings, frameworks, or synthesis outputs — for commercial use without our explicit written permission.

Credential sharing. You may not share your account credentials with another person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

Partner data abuse. You may not use the partner data feature (synastry) to enter data about a person without a legitimate personal reason for doing so. Entering another person's data maliciously, for surveillance, or without any plausible legitimate basis is prohibited.

Coordinated harmful conduct. You may not organize or participate in coordinated campaigns using the Service to harass, intimidate, or harm any individual, including using readings as a pretext for such conduct.

Impersonation. You may not create an account impersonating another person or using false identity information for fraudulent purposes.

Illegal use. You may not use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or terminate accounts where violations are found. Where required by law, we will cooperate with legal authorities investigating misuse of the Service.

7. Content Ownership and License

7.1 Our Content

Sacred Self Daily owns the synthesis architecture, framework library, content library, reader personas, natal chart computation methodology, and all content generated by the Service (including your personalized readings). "Your personalized readings" means the outputs generated for you — we own the intellectual property in those outputs; you have a license to use them for personal, non-commercial purposes as described below.

7.2 Your License to Service Content

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service and its content for your personal, non-commercial use during your active subscription. You may save readings for personal reference and share individual readings through the sharing features we provide.

This license does not include the right to reproduce content for commercial purposes, incorporate it into other products or services, or use it in ways that compete with or substitute for the Service.

7.3 Your Data

You own your personal data, including your birth data, journal entries, and quiz responses. You retain all rights to this data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, including generating your personalized content.

This license ends when you delete your account, subject to the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy.

7.4 User-Generated Content

If the Service allows you to submit text (journal entries, quiz responses, feedback), you retain ownership of that content. You grant us a limited license to process it to provide the Service and improve our systems on an anonymized, aggregated basis.

We will never use your journal entries or personal responses for external marketing or publish them without your explicit consent.

8. Affiliate Disclosures

Free-tier affiliate offers: Free-tier users receive content that includes affiliate offers — recommendations for products or services from which Sacred Self Daily may earn a commission if you click and purchase. These offers are integrated into the content experience.

Paid subscribers: Paid subscribers do not receive affiliate offer CTAs within their daily readings. The paid experience is ad-free.

Disclosure labeling: Affiliate offers are labeled clearly with language such as "Affiliate offer" or "We may earn a commission." These labels appear adjacent to the offer, not buried in a footer. This disclosure satisfies FTC requirements under the 2023 FTC Endorsement Guidelines.

Commission and independence: The inclusion of an affiliate offer does not mean we have reviewed or endorse the linked product beyond what is stated. Affiliate relationships do not influence the editorial content of your readings.

Email disclosures: Emails containing affiliate links include a disclosure statement in the email body near the affiliate link, not only in the footer.

Opt-out: You may opt out of receiving affiliate offer emails specifically without canceling your account. Use the "Manage email preferences" link in any email footer, or update your preferences in account settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

As-is provision. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that readings will achieve any particular outcome for you.

No warranty of accuracy. We make no warranty that astrological or tarot interpretations are accurate, predictive, or factually correct. These frameworks are provided for entertainment and reflection. No claim is made about their scientific validity or predictive reliability.

Limitation of damages. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sacred Self Daily shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Liability cap. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the total subscription fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Exceptions. Nothing in this section limits our liability for: gross negligence or willful misconduct; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; death or personal injury caused by our negligence; any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including EU consumer protection law and Australian Consumer Law).

Consumer rights. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or Australia, you may have statutory rights that cannot be excluded by contract. Nothing in these Terms is intended to override or exclude those statutory rights.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings. Termination takes effect on account deletion. After termination, your personal data is deleted per the schedule described in the Privacy Policy.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

For terminations for cause (fraud, abuse, serious violation), no advance notice is required. We will notify you after termination and explain the reason.

11.1 Governing Law

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you and Velocity Estates LLC consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

11.2 EU and UK User Rights

For users in the European Union and United Kingdom, mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply regardless of any choice of law provision in these Terms. Specifically, you retain the right to bring claims in the courts of your country of residence and the right to rely on mandatory consumer protection provisions of EU or UK law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude those rights.

11.3 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute process, we ask that you contact us at legal@sacredselfdaily.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most issues can be resolved faster through direct contact than through formal proceedings.

11.4 Arbitration

Mandatory Arbitration and Class Action Waiver:

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, administered by JAMS or the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under their then-current rules, and held in Illinois. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. You and Velocity Estates LLC waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.

This arbitration provision does not apply to: (a) small-claims court actions; (b) claims for injunctive or equitable relief related to intellectual property; (c) any other carve-out required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. If any portion of this arbitration provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes — changes that meaningfully affect your rights or obligations — we will:

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept a material change, you may close your account before the change takes effect.

For non-material changes (correcting errors, clarifying existing terms, administrative updates), we will update the Terms and note the revision date without advance notice.
