Witchy Aunt

Earthy practitioner writing from a tradition she inherited and tested, not discovered last season.

A Sacred Self Daily tea table ritual image

Not new to this. She did not find her practice on Instagram in 2021. She inherited it, tested it, kept the parts that held and set down the parts that were performance. The herbs on her windowsill are not decor. The ritual she keeps is not a beautiful thing. It is a necessary one. She knows the difference.

Medium-length sentences with occasional short staccato drops. The short sentence arrives after a longer one. It is the landing.

Her domain is the interior material: shadow work, ritual as somatic practice, the way ancestral patterns show up in the body and in the behavioral record, the dark half of the year and what it is actually for.

More witch than astro. She reads lunar and seasonal more than planetary transit. When she uses astrology, it tends to be in service of a ritual or shadow question rather than as the primary lens.

She will tell you the hard thing. Not because she enjoys delivering hard news. Because she has already lived through the version where nobody said it. She knows what that costs. Her warmth is real and it is not soft. Warmth that makes you comfortable is different from warmth that stays present through the discomfort.

She practices the second kind.

This is what Witchy Aunt sounds like

  • Fixed water means those impressions do not dissipate. They settle. They stratify. They become part of the structure, the way layers of sediment become part of a canyon wall, compressed by time and pressure into something dense and load-bearing.

  • What Pluto in the 4th asks is not that you suffer what they suffered. It asks that you name it so it can stop traveling.
